Less we forget, Nigeria recently held election to elect new leaders (governors and local council leader for another 4 years)to steer the affairs of state for another term 14.4.2007.
I was opportune to be a member of the local civil liberty observation team my group worked at two of the nations oil rich states. The general atmosphere at my locations were peaceful everyone went about their normal civic duties free from harassment's and any form of molestation.
Though in some poling boots election materials arrived very late the locals waited patiently with fractured morals but resolute to caste their vote not withstanding.
There were other international observers on site, we had very meaningful chats about the general outlook of the elections. Majority belief that the outcome of the exercises would stand Nigeria in good stead in the international arena in the foreseeable future. The only doubts were the irate issue of Internet scams and fraud coming from Nigeria,on that precinct i introduced the topic with regard to the over bearing efforts of the law enforcement agents and their international colleagues working in partnership to make it a thing of the past. To report any scam or fraud log on to the site www.efccnigeria.org
OPPORTUNITIES:- While there I also stumble upon some major opportunities for those of you who may be interested in the Nigeria's oil and gas sectore, you can take advantage of the huge opportunities in the nations down stream content policy.
